I have the honor to report that the 1st Instant Mr. Menzies, pressed by the increase of his Military duties, resigned charge of the Lock Hospital, established under Ordinance No. 12 of 1857, and that Dr. Murray the Colonial Surgeon has been directed to undertake the care of it, until further instructions.
